FROM PIERCE COUNTY EXPLORER SEARCH AND RESCUE:
Thank you to all the volunteers and agencies involved with search efforts over the course of 7 days.
Thank you specifically to the teams with Washington Explorer Search and Rescue Kitsap Unit, whose perseverance by their highly trained and skilled SAR volunteers, allowed them to unfortunately locate Mr Kim’s body yesterday evening.
The camaraderie by volunteers was on display, from all the various search units, throughout the duration of operations. It’s an honor to serve along side each other for the residents of Pierce County.
Our deepest sympathies and condolences go out to the Kim family and we hope they may be able to begin the healing process.
