UPDATE to Poulsbo missing person search:
Sadly, we have to report that the body of a deceased male, believed to be that of Randall Trent Ikerd, 50, was found by a ground search K-9 team, from German Shepherd Search Dogs of Pierce County, at 7:40 a.m., Saturday, June 15.
Mr. Ikerd’s family has been notified.
The body was found in a wooded area approimately one-third of a mile northeast of Mr. Ikerd’s residence in Rhododendron Mobile Park, 16000 Orweiler Lane, NW, Poulsbo.
Sheriff’s investigators do not suspect that any criminal actions were involved in this investigation.
The county’s forensic pathologist will conduct an autopsy. The Kitsap County Coroner will confirm identification and determine the cause and manner of death.
