Our searchers were out late last night in the Poulsbo area. An unfortunate ending, but hopefully one that at least brings some closure. Our thoughts are with the Ortiz family.
This is our 6th mission in less than a week and a half.
FROM THE KITSAP COUNTY SHERIFF’S OFFICE:
Sadly, we have to report that the body of a deceased male, believed to be that of Marcus Sackman Ortiz, was found by a ground search team just before midnight near the family residence.
Mr. Ortiz’ family has been notified.
The county’s forensic pathologist will conduct an autopsy. The Kitsap County Coroner will confirm identification and determine the cause and manner of death.
No further details are available.
